ATTRACTIONS

Nestled in the Allegany Foothills, the Town of Carroll has beautiful rural areas of farmland and forest and many other amenities within less than an hour drive.

There are 3 lakes that provide boating, fishing, and swimming.  Lake Erie is 35 miles to the north, Chautauqua Lake is 8 miles northwest, and Kinzua Lake is 14 miles to the east - all of which have motels, hotels, campgrounds, or primitive camping to appeal to any interest.  There are campgrounds too numerous to mention that provide temporaty sites for a weekend get-away or seasonal permanent sites for summer residents.

Forty minutes south to Erie, you can find horse racing, gaming, and auto racing.  There are several up-to-date ski resorts for winter enjoyment and golf courses from professional grade, private, and public, to par-3 walking courses for any level of player.

We are located 6 miles south of Jamestown, NY; home of Lucille Ball.  There you can find the Lucy Desi Museum, Lucy Desi Gift Shop, Lucille Ball Desi-Arnez Center Inc., and the Lucille Ball Little Theater - all dedicated to the life and legacy of one of America's favorite personalities.
