Yearly Events

March/April
The Saturday before Easter marks the Annual Easter Egg Hunt. This is always held at the Frewsburg Central High School football field (weather permitting). If the weather is not suitable for an outdoor hunt, the merriment moves into the high school gym.

June
Community-wide Lawn Sales are held during the second weekend in June. Maps are made available at the Clerk's office and local businesses. Individuals can get their sale on the map by contacting the Town Clerk. Some area organizations throughout town offer hotdogs and drinks during the sales.

July
July brings the Frewsburg Gala Days sponsored by the Frewsburg Volunteer Fire Department.
Festivities begin on Wednesday evening and continue through Friday night at 6:00 p.m. and Saturday opening is at 1:00 p.m. Rides are by Amusement Rides of Utica. Bands will be on Friday "Two for Flinching" and Saturday night "Fowlers Taffy" - - games, Fireman Food Building and more. The parade will be at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday.

November
The Saturday after Thanksgiving is the day for the Annual Santa Parade and Fire Department Craft Show. This parade is old-fashioned, highlighted by horse-drawn carriages and wagons of all kinds. Some of the most beautiful teams of horses in the area make the trip to participate in this parade. Bringing up the rear of the parade is none other than Santa himself. He is available to take Christmas orders at his house on the fireman's grounds. Then stop into the "Blue Building" for the craft show and a cup of coffee and snack!
